Beauty in the Sea...

And God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” 21 So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.  - Genesis 1:20-21

Jellyfish.  I know they sting, and aren't the most popular fish of the sea... but that doesn't make them any less beautiful.  The Lord has a very creative side, which is showcased in the sea.  His use of color and His attention to detail is overwhelming.  And these are jellyfish.  Just think of the detail that goes into making each and every human being.  We are all so different and so beautiful.

I loved standing in front of these beautiful creatures marvelling at the fact that the God of creation made them for me.  For me, and you, to enjoy their beauty, as a reflection of His love.  His love is infinite.  And He cares for the littlest of creatures... will He not care for my needs as well?

Thank you Lord for your beautiful creations and for your constant provision.  Thank you for giving us sea turtles and jellyfish and even sardines.

Sardines may be small... but thank you for them.  They sure do make an impact when swimming in mass.

And God saw that it was good.
Yes, Lord, it IS good.

breath taking photos! Reminds me of the book I read to Sam tonight, Veggie Tales Creation Vacation as it goes through each day of creation. Amazing and so very good.
