The sun was perfect for the luncheon outside... which made for such a gorgeous afternoon.
|Main table, complete with milk glass vases with garden arrangements. My mom used a burlap runner, along with bright orange napkins and pumpkin place cards.|
I will say that my mom did an amazing job with the flowers. Can you believe these arrangements are out of her yard? With exception of the Hollyhock (the pink ruffly flower) which came from my great aunts garden in Crescent, Oklahoma. I love little touches like that.
What I also love was our volunteer staff ;) Thanks Dad for putting out all the dishes! You were a big help! (He even wore his volunteer shirt, which I thought was hilarious!)
Kaelee was as beautiful as ever and we loved having all the bridal party as well as women in the family for lunch.
My sister came up with the cutest place cards... spray painted pumpkins, cut the stems with a utility knife, just enough to fit a small place card in them. Genius I tell you! Kaelee's card got a special veil ;)
Before lunch, we prayed over Kaelee and their marriage. What a perfect time together, as a fellowship of believers praying over this sweet couple.
We started with my mom's Roasted Red Bell Pepper soup. Amazing. Then had what is called a "Girly Salad". My aunt LeeAnn did this salad at my sister's bridal luncheon and it's so good. Greens, chicken, tomatoes, grapes, pineapple, mandarin oranges, avocado with a poppy seed dressing. Throw is all on! So good! Pair that with homemade foccocia and you've got yourself a bridal luncheon!
For dessert, we had a warm pear, apple and cranberry crumble. It was AMAZING. Here's where we found the recipe. I highly recommend it.
The garden looked so pretty... a perfect spot for pictures!

We had the best time Kaelee... your friends and family are so much fun!
After the luncheon, I took some quick pics around the garden. I just love flowers in the Fall. The light and the blooms are so gorgeous! And the bees sure were happy with the lavender!
It might be a while until I have some pics from the wedding up... but I'll post those as soon as I can!
