Treats and Tips and Sparklers... oh my!

Happy Friday everyone!  We have had a long week at the Baker household... sweet Stephen has been sick.  Lets hope he can get better for some fireworks this weekend!  I'm excited to be at home, and hopefully make some fun foods for the Fourth.

I've really enjoyed finding fun inspiration around the blogosphere... you can really find so many great ideas.  Here are some of my favorites:

Would this table not be PERFECT for a little boys birthday party?  I do love it for a Fourth of July themed buffet to serve treats on... but when I saw it I thought "keep this in the file for someday!"

Have you seen all the fun FREE printable templates?  Each of these pictures has a link below... click it for instructions on how to download each free template.  So cute!

If I had a party with sparklers, I would do these in a heartbeat.  So adorable!

PS- I LOVE this blog.  Twig and Thistle.  Check them out for sure.  Tons of great things on there... all categories.

Oh Martha...
Martha has a great tissue tutorial for making fun starbursts to go above a dessert table, or just to decorate the fourth with.  Change the colors and have fun tissue starbursts for your next birthday celebration.  So cute!

Everyone needs a pinwheel!

Are you taking a gift to your family picnic this weekend?  Why not add an adorable tag to your gift?  This would look darling on a cellobag full of patriotic popcorn, or a fresh loaf of bread... or a bag full of chocolate chip cookies!

Treat Bag!
Ok, and how CUTE are these?  I at first thought "There's no way I could make that" and then I read her tutorial.  Seems simple!  Now, all I need is a reason to bag up all this fun candy!  I might just have to start knocking on neighbors doors.  Happy Fourth from your crazy craft crazed neighbor!

There are SO many more sites out there with free template downloads for the Fourth (and for every other holiday for that matter).  Just google "Free Template Downloads Blog" and you'll get some great sites.  I love getting lost in blog sites.  It's kind of a problem.  But a fun problem!

Have a great weekend everyone!  Be safe, take pictures, eat a LOT, and relax.  Enjoy being free ;)

Hi Sarah....
Just came across your lovely blog...
I also recently bought an old house in Shreveport. I'm so jealous that the previous owner left some of her treasures! So cool!
I'll keep following you... your photos are gorgeous :-)
